Rebekah Russell is our resident Piano, Vocal, Ukulele, and General Music teacher at Selah Studios.  Rebekah's musical journey started when she began piano lessons at the age of 5, and has spanned over the past 30 years.  She began taking private vocal lessons at the age of 10 and has had the privilege of singing everything from country to opera. Her teaching career began in 2011 when she began teaching students out of her home and over the years, her student load has grown exponentially to the point where she and her husband were able to open Selah Studios in 2022.  Throughout her career, she's enjoyed the opportunity to co-direct a community children's choir, sing in various choirs, participate in theatrical productions and lead worship at her church. When she isn't teaching, Rebekah enjoys spending time with her husband Tyler and their fluffy orange cat, attending church functions, and painting.

David Crowden is our resident acoustic and electric guitar teacher at Selah Studios.  David’s musical journey began with guitar lessons at 10 years old.   At 14 started guitar lessons with a different teacher who also had a different approach focusing on more popular music at the time.  Over the years, he learned not just technique but gained confidence in himself as a musician.  In high school, he started a Christian Rock band with his cousin and some friends.  They wrote their own music, and were allowed  to practice at the church where his dad pastored.  They eventually played concerts at a couple of local churches.  David has played with and led worship groups in a few churches during the years.  David’s goal in teaching guitar is for students to find the joy and confidence of express themselves musically.
